INDUCTOR Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

Abstract RU 2159641 C1

FIELD: medicine; magnetic and vibration therapy, cosmetology, dermatology, preventive and therapeutic treatment. SUBSTANCE: inductor has solenoid, vibrator, and touch sensor; inductor is, essentially, former- wound solenoid mounted in cylindrical insulating case and secured to effective bottom base along longitudinal axis of the latter so that magnetic radiation field is perpendicular to patient's surface. Mounted on other side of solenoid is vibrator made in the form of metal disk with bushing partially inserted in solenoid; touch sensor which is, essentially, metal semi-sphere, 2-4 mm in diameter and 1.0-1.5 mm thick, made, for example, of brass or silver is secured to external side of cylindrical-case effective base in center of longitudinal axis and connected by means of coaxial cable to control unit; coaxial cable is passed through inner holes of solenoid and vibrator disk and brought out through top base of cylindrical case together with power circuits of solenoid coil; inductor case is hermetically sealed; its cylinder length-to- diameter ratio is approximately 2:1; case has auxiliary notch and collar in center. Case diameter and length are chosen to ensure adequate space for accommodating solenoid coil and steel disk of vibrator. Diameter of the latter makes up 0.8 of solenoid outer diameter. Diameter of disk bushing is smaller than inner diameter of solenoid coil former and its length equals one fourth to one third of solenoid coil height. Vibrator disk proper is mounted between shock absorbers made in the form of two soft polyurethane foam or the like disks each provided with hole; one disk is mounted on upper part of solenoid coil former and other one, above vibrator disk. EFFECT: improved therapeutic effectiveness and operating reliability. 1 dwg
