FIELD: materials handling facilities; hoists. SUBSTANCE: proposed mechanism has drum, electric motor built into drum, reduction gear in form of gear train and shaft, all arranged inside housing. Housing has pins rigidly connected to housing. Shaft has eccentric section. Internal gear wheel of train is engaged with drum and with external gear mounted on eccentric section of shaft. Gear has at least four symmetrical holes. Number of wheel teeth exceeds that of gear minimum by one. Pins are fitted in gear holes with clearance. Eccentric section consists of two eccentric journals turned through 180° relative to each other. Clearance is one0side and is equal to double eccentricity value of eccentric journal. Gear is divided into two parts equal in length of tooth. EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions of mechanism, increased efficiency, provision of load holding owing to self- braking of reduction gear. 2 cl, 2 dwg
