SUBSTANCE: burner has housing 1 with Venturi-tube shaped shell 2 built in burner body and used to divide common air duct into central duct 4 holding axial swirler 8 and peripheral duct 3 accommodating flow control 7; devices 5 and 6 delivering gas to central and peripheral ducts, respectively; injector 8 arranged along burner axis; independent gas-firing and protective devices 9 and 10, respectively. Ratio between diameters of burner outlet contraction section and Venturi tube neck is 1.32. Inlet device of central air duct is located in contracting section of Venturi tube and that of peripheral air duct, in its expanding section, its relative shift along longitudinal axis of burner being 0.7 of embrasure; ratio between relative sectional areas of central and peripheral air ducts is 6.8. Device 6 feeding peripheral air duct with gas has removable end pieces 13. EFFECT: improved performance characteristics, reduced emission of nitrogen oxides, aerodynamic drag, and metal input, reduced noise and vibration level, provision for preventing flame separation from boiler embrasure during gas burning. 5 cl, 10 dwg
