FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to burning of contaminated industrial gases, mainly coke oven gas and its mixture with blast furnace gas in the ignition furnaces of sinter conveyor machines. In the central part of the combustion zone made outside of the burner, along the burner stone axis the straight-jet flow of mixture of gas and air is fed with the air flow coefficient of 0.5-1.05, and in the peripheral - the vortex flow of mixture of gas and air with the air flow coefficient of 1.4-2.0. Flow of air into the central part is carried out by convergent disjoint jets ensuring the resulting mixture ignition and combustion source shielding from vortex peripheral flow. At that the device for burning the contaminated gas comprises an air supply housing with an axial swirler, the central channel for gas flow, the electric spark arrester and a sleeve between them with a nozzle head, which is provided with holes for the gas flow in the peripheral zone behind the swirler to form the swirling flow of the mixture of gas and air.
EFFECT: invention provides prevention of deposition of dust-tarry substances on the surfaces of the outlet elements of the burners.
