METHOD FOR DRAWING LOTTERY Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: entertainment games. SUBSTANCE: method involves issuing lottery tickets, production of data set of about tickets participating in play, distribution of prize amount, performing drawing event, and paying money to winners. Lottery is drawn in systems, which use identification cards. Lottery tickets are issued in electronic form. Lottery drawing procedure involves generation of set of identification data for electronic lottery tickets, in order to provide distribution of prizes. They are included into produced set of identification data. Identification cards are used as carriers of information about electronic lottery tickets. Then, lottery drawing procedure involves transmission of data about available identification cards and generation of data set with correspondence of identifiers of electronic lottery tickets and identifiers of identification cards using the following dependence (n•M+C)modT = K, where n is checked identifier of electronic lottery ticket, mod is operation for calculation of division remainder, M, C, T and K are numbers, which belong to set of function parameters, K is within range of 0 to T-1, T=N/win, where N is total number of tickets, win is desired number of winning tickets. M, C and T are coprime. M and C are greater than maximal value of number of N. EFFECT: possibility to invite participation from owners of identification cards, security and anonymity of lottery participants. 3 cl, 4 dwg
