FIELD: agricultural production. SUBSTANCE: method involves splitting soil into furrows to plow horizon depth; forming compact trapezium-shaped partitions between furrows; shearing top parts of compact partitions to seeding depth; repeatedly shearing partitions to plow horizon depth so as to form small soil crumb layer in zone of main mass of rootage of crop plants; separating field surface and forming compacted interlayer at first soil shear depth. Method may be used in intensified technologies for cultivating sugar beet, potato, corn, cereal crops, vegetables under water deficit conditions, in particular, on heavy loamy soils having tendency to lumping. EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved yield in arid conditions. 6 dwg
