METHOD OF SEWAGE WATER TREATMENT Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: water treatment in hydrolysis, wood-pulp and paper, machine-building and other industries where sewage waters are polluted with oil, organic and suspended substances. SUBSTANCE: method includes sewage water settling, biological treatment, settling of active sludge, adsorption purification, dewatering of slime pulp and utilization of sediments. Supplied to stage of adsorption purification is afteryeast mash and/or slime pulp, and/or sludge pulp. Then, sewage is passed through lignin in drainage pits or cyclones with combination of purification process with removal of light from hydrolysis apparatuses. Some part of purified sewage water is used in technology of hydrolysis production. For neutralization of residual sulfuric acid, quicklime is added to lignin.
