FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has housing, electric actuation unit, valve unit cylindrical guide rod arranged in housing guide hole, taper locking surface, taper seat of bypass valve with hole limiting fuel flow, and pressure space. Armature travel control limiter is made for engagement with armature in armature chamber located in upper part of housing. Valve unit has cylindrical hollow skirt connected to valve to form precision pair with mating part. Skirt and mating part form valve chamber which is hydraulically connected with armature chamber found in upper part of housing. Armature has holder made in form of part separated from armature but connected with the latter. Holder is made for encircling upper part of rod with possibility of movement along rod axis. Tapering with shoulder is made in upper part of rod. Holder rests against this shoulder. Holding spring engages with holder by one end. Axes of symmetry of fuel inlet and outlet holes coincide and intersect axis of symmetry of housing hole for rod. EFFECT: reduced pressure losses, increased speed of response of fuel delivery commencement and fuel cut-off processes, accuracy of fuel metering out, reduced fuel consumption and increased service life of valve. 2 dwg
