FIELD: electrical engineering; control of direct metering fuel valves of diesel engine fuel pump. SUBSTANCE: electromagnet has split laminated and mechanically open core and armature with saw-like longitudinal section of mated surface, and winding consisting of several sections. Armature is arranged profiles over division plane. Core and armature are assembled of packs. Movable armature packs are reinforced from outside by centering holders. Adjacent sections of winding of formless layer spiral type with even number of layers and leadouts from outer turns are arranged in core pack bores and are connected in opposition into electric circuit.
