FIELD: applicable as a drive in generation of electric power. SUBSTANCE: the device has a power unit incorporating kinematically linked loading and balancing mechanism is made in the form of two movable hinge-joined platforms. With their bearing surfaces the platforms are installed on the roadway for reciprocating motion of the bearing surfaces in the direction of the road longitudinal axis. The platforms serve as part of the roadway. The axis of the hinge joint of the platforms is oriented in parallel with the bearing surfaces of the platforms and perpendicularly to the road longitudinal axis. The balancing mechanism is made in the form of a return mechanism, having at least two brackets located on both sides of the road, at least two blocks positioned on the brackets, at least two loads and at least two ropes, each connected with its end through the block to one of the loads, and with the other end- to the load mechanism directly near the hinge joint. Kinematic coupling of the load mechanism to the power load shaft is accomplished by means of a power drive. The power drive has a pusher, connecting rod, toothed quadrant, ratchet-and-pawl mechanism with drive and driven gears, drive gear of the power load shaft and driven gear of the power load shaft rigidly connected to this shaft. EFFECT: generation of electric power, using gravity of transport facilities. 2 dwg
