FIELD: measuring equipment, in particular, seismometry. SUBSTANCE: the seismometer has a base carrying two magnetic systems, each consisting of series-connected magnetic circuit, permanent magnet and pole piece, coil positioned between the magnetic circuit and pole piece, nonmagnetic sleeve installed inside the magnetic system in alignment with them. Positioned in the non-magnetic sleeve, on its two ends, are limiting and adjusting screws whose heads are covered with caps. Grooves are made in the joint of the pole pieces in parallel with the axis of the magnetic system. Arresting segments with slots are installed in the gap of the magnetic systems perpendicularly to their axis. Flat springs holding the segments in the position of contact with the coil form are placed in the grooves. Sealing gaskets are installed in the joint of the magnetic systems and under the cap beads. EFFECT: enhanced resistance to mechanical effects while in transit. 2 dwg
