FIELD: selective location of single- phase ground fault. SUBSTANCE: with one of alternatives, 6-35 kV line incorporating arc-suppression reactor and ground-fault protective gear at each junction point uses its arc-suppression reactor for locating single-phase ground fault including ground-fault current correction for which purpose it functions to increase active component of ground-fault current the protective gear of faulty junction responds to for preset time interval by shorting out its signal winding with aid of additional switch through series resistor. With other alternative, two coils of reactor signal winding are sequentially changed over by means of separate additional thyristors through series resistor so that fault current harmonic, which is a multiple of fundamental frequency, is modulated and junction-point protective gear responds to this modulation frequency. EFFECT: improved sensitivity, selectivity, facilitated procedure of ground fault detection. 2 cl, 1 dwg
