FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves directing tractor propellers along centering semifurrow opened at previous pass. Semifurrow has elliptical section whose larger axis is extending perpendicular to plowed field surface. Width of semifurrow is 1.1-1.3 e, it is spaced from propellers by distance determined by ratio: c=b n-K, where c is distance from midportion of guiding furrow to tractor propeller; b is width of one plow body; n in number of plow bodies; K is width of tractor track; e is width of tractor wheel (caterpillar). Plow has cutting member, tine with bearing unit and rotation shaft, and rotary working tool with base and cap. Cutting tool is made in the form of truncated cone with inner working surface which is smoothly continued at its part having minimum diameter into surface of tore rigidly secured on base of rotary working tool for joint rotation about shaft. Shaft is mounted in horizontal plane at an angle of 45 deg to longitudinal axis of tractor. Cap is made in the form of hollow cone positioned within working surface of cutting member in symmetry with axis of rotation and rigidly fixed on base of rotary working tool so that its working surface is smoothly joined to tore surface. Ratio of outer diameter of cutting member and width of centering semifurrow is 1.5-1.7:1.
