FIELD: transport engineering; high-speed vehicles. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to glazing of bodies of rail, road, water and air vehicles and fastening of glasses of lights, radio and sound conducting fairings of transceivers and other similar devices. Edges of glasses (glass pack) are made to perimeter with chamber and expansion into body. Edges of window aperture are provided with wedge recess with blunted outer edge to form "non-falling out" position of glass. Chamfer and surface of glass in place of contact with sealing filler are frosted. Glass fastening method comes to the following: after fitting the glass in window aperture made with displacement of glass to one of aperture corners, glass is tilted and turned simultaneously. Then, glass is returned to center of window aperture to provide uniform clearance over edges. Then glass is fixed in standard position by fastening gaskets along lower and side edges and clearance along edges of glass (glass pack) is filled up by sealing filler. This done, gaskets are removed and clearances left after removal of gaskets is filled up with sealing filler. EFFECT: simplified glass fastening provision of hermetic fastening of non-round glass. 3 cl, 4 dwg
