VEHICLE GANGWAY Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: railway transport; gangway between car vestibule and mounting platform. SUBSTANCE: proposed gangway has vehicle flooring and bridge 1 resting by rolling supports 2 mounted on trunnions on guides 3 secured on base and coupled through hinged posts with carriage resting on guides. Guides are made as common units and are provided with vertical legs for bridge rolling supports. Base 14 is made in form of extensible unit. Carriage is furnished with guide cleaners secured on trunnions and is coupled with motion drive installed on base resting on additional guides rigidly secured on vehicle body and fixed relative to guides. EFFECT: simplified design, possibility of mounting gangway at floor level. 7 dwg
