DIRECTING DEVICE Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical; engineering; materials handling facilities; devices for aligning articles at reloading. SUBSTANCE: directing device has base and guide tube for directing grip in motion, larger and smaller turnable plates with displaced axes of rotation and drives to provide getting to preset coordinate in zone of servicing, and screw jack. Jack has screw installed for free rotation by drive on guide tube, nut with sleeve provided with guide rollers and rigid stop to limit travel of nut with sleeve along guide tube. Guide tube accommodates also core with collar and holes for balls which moves in vertical direction. Holes in core are provided with taper faces to prevent falling out of balls in direction to center. Groove and face for engagement with above-mentioned balls are made in lower part of sleeve. Face has inverted cone to change from groove diameter to diameter providing arrangement of above-indicated core. Guide tube is installed in smaller turnable plate. EFFECT: cut down time required for reloading, reduced metals usage. 2 dwg
