FIELD: nuclear engineering; recharging spent fuel assemblies of transport reactors.
SUBSTANCE: proposed recharging container has its modular mechanism made in the form of frame with built-in module. One end of frame is joined to axle provided with fork. Fork-and-key assembly is mounted in flange provided with keyway. Bottom end of fork abuts against weighting device and has pressurizer and snap ring. Other end of frame is coupled through bushing with spring-loaded rod disposed in sleeve for engagement and with sleeve screw through keyway. Cam is fixed on rod for engaging rollers of limit switches. Grip displacement drive is provided with synchro device. Holes designed to receive temperature measuring instrument and to introduce medium are plugged. Drives and electrical equipment are provided with casing.
EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities, reduced spent fuel assembly recharging and decontamination time, enhanced radiation safety.
