SUBSTANCE: osteopenetrometer consists of a barrel-support with an indenter freely located in it, which invades in the bone in the course of operation. The barrel-support is fastened in the receiver that terminates in a butt plate, screwed into which is a measuring lever-toothed head with an extensible head. Positioned in the receiver between the anvil and butt plate are the striker, mainspring, rod-compensator with a safeguard spring. The striker cocking and release mechanism has a trigger a return spring, guide rollers, sear, sear spring, trigger stop and guide grooves. To facilitate operation, the osteopenetrometer is provided with a handle. EFFECT: quantitative determination of bone density. 4 cl, 1 dwg
