METHOD OF MINERAL LEACHING FROM PRODUCING HORIZONS Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: mining; applicable, mainly, in mining of uranium from producing beds. SUBSTANCE: method includes drilling of injection and pumping-out holes, supply of leaching solution through injection holes to producing horizons and pumping out of producing solution from producing horizons through pumping-out holes. With leaching solution density exceeding density of bed waters, bottoms of injection holes are located at producing horizon roof, and bottoms of pumping-out holes are located at producing horizon floor. Holes of upper and lower levels are staggered. Upon decrease of leached component concentration in producing solution below commercial level, purpose of injection and producing holes are changed. Injection of leaching solution is periodically discontinued for several hours for levelling of surface of displacement agent. At the final stage of object operation, injected into working horizon is liquid for neutralization of leaching solution remaining in be. Liquid for neutralization is used in the form of water.
