FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: internal combustion engine has at least one cylinder with piston mechanically coupled with crankshaft through connecting rod, cylinder head with step on cylinder, main combustion chamber limited by cylinder, its head and piston crown. Prechamber is made in form of two coaxially arranged cups with concave bottoms. One cup is installed on piston crown, and the other is secured on cylinder head. Cups are installed for displacement relative to each other. Equal diameter holes are made on side surfaces over diameter of cups in one row. Invention provides complete combustion of fuel and reduces heat losses owing to displacement of ignition site to center of burning. EFFECT: improved process of fuel combustion. 1 dwg
