FIELD: technology of building materials, more particularly manufacture of light-weight gypsum products. SUBSTANCE: composition comprises semiaqueous gypsum, carbonate-containing component, blowing agent, waste paper fine sorting waste with moisture content of 58-65% or air dry dust-like waste paper. Carbonate-containing component is calcium carbonate, and blowing agent is mixture of copper sulfate and sulfuric acid, ratios of components being as follows, wt parts; semiaqueous gypsum, 100; calcium carbonate, 3-7; copper sulfate, 0.3-0.7; sulfuric acid, 3-7; waste paper fine sorting waste with moisture of 55-65% or dust-like waste paper, 20-30. Blowing agent further comprises aluminium sulfate in amount of 1.5-3.5 wt parts per 100 wt parts of gypsum.
