FIELD: microbiology, vaccines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing thermolabile enterotoxin (LT-enterotoxin) and anatoxin of Enterobacter agglomerans used for production of vaccines. Strain Enterobacter agglomerans N 5356 is isolated from patient feces with foot mycosis, deposited in the Collection of the State Scientific- -Research Institute of standardization and control of medicinal biological preparations at registration number 257. Strain Enterobacter agglomerans GISK N 256 shows the following traits. In culturing in the usual nutrient media at 37 C the strain grows on surface of nutrient medium forming typical isolated colonies of yellow color shade. In culturing in Hottinger broth (pH 7.2) at 37 C for 24 h the strain causes uniform turbidity accompanying with precipitate formation. After subplantar administration of 0.05 ml of centifugate of 20 h broth culture in mice (weight is 15-16 g) in the dose above 95 mg paw edema is developed. Intranasal administration of 0.05 mg of 20 h broth culture in mouse males (weight is 15-16 g) results to the death of animals for 4 h at symptoms of tonic seizures and asphyxia. Intracutaneous administration of 300 mln of microbe cells of 20 h broth culture in rabbit results to development of skin necrosis (diameter is 3.0 cm). In experiment with rabbit small intestine loop after administration of 500 mln cells of 20 h broth culture the positive effect is observed (V/L = 1.2). Centrifugate of 20 h broth culture heated preliminarily at 56 C for 45 min induces paw edema in mice (dose is below 30 mg) but it does not induce skin necrosis in rabbit. Preliminarily heated at 100 C 20 h broth culture does not induce fluid accumulation in rabbit isolated small intestine loop (V/L = 0.3). Media for multiplication of bacterial cells: Hottinger broth (pH 7.2) containing 5% of rabbit erythrocytes at 37 C for 24 h. Genetic traits: Hly+,Ent+,MS+,MR+. Strain shows resistance to penicillin, tetracycline, erythromycin, levomycetin, carbencillin, rifampicin and oleandomycin. Strain Enterobacter agglomerans GISK N 257 shows the enhanced toxin-producing capability. EFFECT: strain indicated above, valuable properties, enhanced production of toxins. 1 tbl, 2 ex
