FIELD: cryogenic engineering; production of liquefied natural gas. SUBSTANCE: during operation of system, liquid nitrogen is produced from air sucked from atmosphere which is then fed to heat exchanger by means of high-pressure pump. In heat exchanger heat exchange between liquid nitrogen and gaseous natural gas supplied via main takes place. Natural gas is cooled and liquefied due to heat exchange in heat exchanger, after it is delivered to heat-insulated reservoir via drain line for storage. During heat exchange liquid nitrogen is heated converting into high-pressure gaseous phase. Heat exchange with atmospheric air takes place in heat exchanger; as a result, high-pressure gaseous nitrogen is heated and is admitted into turbine where it performs useful mechanical work generating electric power in electric generator mounted on shaft common with turbine. Control of supply of air and nitrogen to system is effected by means of regulating valves. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of system; reduced expenses. 1 dwg
