FIELD: plastic metal working, particularly cold forming, namely, drawing processes with use of elastic medium for making parts of sheet blanks. SUBSTANCE: flat blank is drawn by means of elastic medium with use of elastic punch and rigid die during two transitions. At first transition in central zone between elastic punch and blank rigid cover plate is placed. Cover plate has in plan view shape similar to that of drawn part bottom, its surface area is twice less than that of part bottom. Roundings of cover plate along the whole contour have radius values no less than five thickness value of blank material. EFFECT: improved quality of drawn parts. 2 dwg, 1 ex
