AGENT NORMALIZING MOTOR SYSTEM OF BILE-SECRETORY WAY AND GASTROENTERIC TRACT Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, phytotherapy. SUBSTANCE: agent normalizing motor system of bile-secretory ways and gastroenteric tract has swampy sweet flag roots with rhizomes and dandelion roots and, additionally, medicinal marsh-mallow roots and violet pensy (tricolor) herb in the following ratio of components, wt.-%: swampy sweet flag (roots with rhizomes), 5-15; dandelion (roots), 10-60; violet pensy (tricolor) (herb), 5-50 and medicinal marsh-mallow (roots), the balance. After addition of 15-25 wt.-% of field rest-harrow herb and 5-10 wt.-% of mint herb and/or fragrant dill to the agent composition the latter shows antihemorrhagic, anti-inflammatory agent, it improves kidney function and prevents venous congestion in abdominal cavity. Additional addition of the following herbs: milfoil herb or flowers, sandy common immortelle flowers (everlasting) in the amount 5-15 wt.-% to the agent composition the latter shows desensitizing, analgetic effect and stimulates production of pancreas enzymes. Additional addition of motherwort herb to the agent in the amount 5-10 wt.-% that acts as bitter principle and strong sedative results to the improvement of digestion, strong antiseptic effect, spasmolytic and analgetic effects. Agent is used as plant raw tincture prepared after extraction at 60-70 C for 1-2h. After intake the agent shows the improvement of the general state, normalization of intestine functions and bile-secretory ways, enzymatic function of pancreas, elimination of congestion symptoms in liver, skin cleansing and the enhancement of skin immunity.
