MACHINE FOR ASSEMBLY OF BELT BLANKS Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: equipment for mechanical rubber industry; manufacture of V-belts used in various industries and transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed machine has terminal revolving drums with fixed axles; at least one these drum is used as drive drum; machine includes also tension and compensating drums mounted on movable platforms, closed conveyer belt mounted on terminal, tension and compensating drums forming loop of telescopic conveyer together with them; machine is also provided with stitcher and cord guide carriage. Mounted loop of telescopic conveyer on side of terminal drums is drive assembly drum located under stitcher in such position that terminal and compensating drums are located between drive assembly drum and tension drum. Ends of axle of terminal and compensating drums carry drive sprockets. Drive chains engaged with drum sprockets are secured on ends of conveyer belt loop. EFFECT: improved quality of rolled-up stock and consequently quality of belts; increased productivity. 4 cl, 2 dwg
