FIELD: manufacture of belts. SUBSTANCE: carriage reciprocating movement drive is in the form of catch. On rifling are made arresting grooves for receiving the catch which are perpendicular to axis of shaft and form common channel together with grooves of screw. In this case places of transition of slots to grooves are smooth, and slots are positioned at a pitch equal to pitch of cutting. Mechanism of feeding knives is made in the form of cams and fixed stops fixed on ends of lead screw. They are mounted on bedplate for engagement with cams. The device is provided with two guides fastened on bedplate, and lead screw is installed in them for movement in the direction of rolled-up stock fastening unit. Leading catch is in the form of ball connected to carriage for movement inside it and spring-loaded to lead screw on the side of carriage, its portion is positioned in rifling of lead screw. The device is provided with slide block on which carriage is installed, and bedplate has grooves for slide block for movement in reciprocally perpendicular directions. The device is also provided with auxiliary knife heads with knives, the distance between them is multiple to cutting pitch. The device is provided with units for adjustment of position of knives in knife heads, the units are positioned on carriage. EFFECT: enhanced operating capabilities. 7 cl, 8 dwg
