FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for breaking crust in slag ladle in the process of metal pouring has bridge crane cart with lifting winch mounted on cart, and hook hanger with cross-piece to which working tool is attached. Working tool is formed as frame with rib running around ladle end edge. Frame is provided with openings for receiving crust breakers whose lower parts are positioned under frame and pivotally connected to hook-type tips. Compression springs are secured to upper parts of crust breakers positioned above frame. Rigidity of compression springs is decreasing from ladle center. Cross-piece is pivotally connected to frame. Such construction provides intensified breakage of crust in metal transportation ladles. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified construction. 4 dwg
