FIELD: separation of solid particles from gas. SUBSTANCE: centrifugal separator has upper part of constant cross-section formed by some first wall and having in its upper part a channel for supply of mixture of gas and solid particles, and a channel for gas discharge; lower part reducing in direction down the cross-section and formed by some second wall and having in its lower part a channel for discharge of solid particles. At least one of said walls has on its internal surface at least one groove for catching of solid particles and directed downward, and having depth ranging from 1 to 20% of inner diameter of upper part of given separator and width equalling from 2 to 10% of inner diameter of said upper part of given separator.
