FIELD: separating actuating mechanisms of radiometric separators; applicable in mineral concentration branch of mining industry. SUBSTANCE: separating device includes reversing drive with gate mechanism. The latter is made in the form of two baffle gates secured by hinges and articulated movably by frame installed on gate props. Frame is connected with reversing drive through compensator of axial displacement, for instance, flexible coupling. Frame side walls have recesses for longitudinal displacement in them of gate props on rolling bearings. EFFECT: high speed response and productivity in batch sorting of materials into three fractions simultaneously, higher operating reliability including that at subzero ambient temperatures. 2 cl, 4 dwg
