FIELD: actuating mechanisms of X-ray radiometric separators; applicable in mineral concentration branch of mining industry. SUBSTANCE: baffle gate includes baffle connected with drive. Baffle is made of steel net, secured in rigid frame and screened with flexible polymer material protected by solid shell of protective members attached to net through holes in flexible polymer material. Protective members are made in the form of parallelogram plates whose pointed ends are fastened in net by bends. EFFECT: higher resistance of gate to abrasive wear, simple design, increased operating reliability and maintainability. 2 cl, 4 dwg
