FIELD: gasoline production. SUBSTANCE: low-octane gasoline fractions are subjected to reforming in presence of two catalysts: zeolite-containing catalyst Z-10 and alumino-cobalt(nickel)-molybdenum oxide catalyst plus 0.2 to 5.0% of mono- or diatomic alcohols. Use of catalyst mixture modified by aluminochromium(tungsten)-phenylsiloxane is also possible. Process is carried out at 460-510 C and raw material flow rate 0.3 to 0,9 h-1. EFFECT: increased yield of product, increased octane number of product, and reduced gas formation. 3 cl, 4 tbl
