FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: fertilizer applying unit has rotary housing made in the form of cylinder, and auger mounted inside housing. Auger is formed as spiral wire with left-hand and right-hand coils providing feeding of bulk material in opposite directions. Immovable cylindrical casings within working parts of auger coils have outer diameter equal to inner diameter of auger coil. Seeding windows made in housing are arranged in helical path and equally spaced one with respect to the other in the direction of rotation of auger. Fertilizer applying unit of such construction may be attached to working tools of machine for applying bulk materials, in particular, mineral fertilizers. EFFECT: increased uniformity in seeding bulk materials on slopes, wider operational capabilities and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 dwg
