FIELD: medicine, psychoneurology. SUBSTANCE: invention proposes agent containing a mixture of 0.15-0.20% of hydrogen peroxide in the amount of 200 ml and 2-4 ml of viburnum decoction. Invention proposes also method of treatment of patients with epilepsy and schizophrenia using the proposed preparation by intravenous infusion. Infusion is carried out by courses by 10-15 infusions at the rate 30-60 drops per minute in 2-3 days. Mixture of hydrogen peroxide in the dose 0.15-0.20% in volume 200 ml and viburnum bark decoction in the dose 1-2 ml in 100 ml of hydrogen peroxide. Proposed preparation and method of treatment give good therapeutic effect, frequency of epileptic seizures is decreased, electroencephalogram is normalized.
