ROBOTIZED COMPLEX FOR WELDING FORMED-SHEET MEMBERS OF MOTOR VEHICLE BODY Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: welding, namely robotized complexes that may be built in lines for assembling-welding bodies of motor vehicles as apparatuses for welding subassemblies of body and also for welding bodies and body units of motor vehicles of small-scale production. SUBSTANCE: robotized complex includes rotary-wheeling out tables with receiving sections 3 having loading stations with satellites 9 that may perform reciprocation motion and may be wheeled out to surface plate of rotary- wheeling out tables. Welding robots 1 are arranged between rotary-wheeling out tables 2 for alternatively or simultaneously welding subassemblies placed in welding jigs 10. Jigs 10 are mounted on satellites 9 that may be rotated by predetermined angles at welding process after wheeling them out and fixing them on surface plates 13. Vertically moving clamping device is provided with electromechanical accelerated-motion drive unit; its limit upper position corresponds to level exceeding height of welding robots in their working positions. Receiving sections 3 may be arranged at one or at both sides of table 2 and radially relative to center of table at both sides of welding robots 1. Complex provides 100% loading of welding robots whose number may be significantly reduced. EFFECT: possibility for decreasing number of welding robots, welding in the same complex several different-type subassemblies and, if necessary, quick change of satellites with respective welding jigs. 10 cl, 7 dwg
