FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: piston-to-rod joint contains rod passed through piston. Piston and rod are coupled to each other by means of device which sets piston in required position relative to rod. Piston may move in direction of rod motion at moment rod starts moving. Auxiliary piston interacting with piston along internal diameter and with cylinder liner along external diameter is positioned coaxially with piston. Auxiliary piston is coupled to piston by connecting element of auxiliary piston in preset position relative to piston.
