FIELD: devices for purification of liquids from mechanical impurities; applicable in mineral concentration, chemical, food and other industries. SUBSTANCE: drum-type vacuum filter has a perforated cylindrical body, distributing heads, trunnions lying in bearings, convex-concave draining surface with filtering partition and pressing shafts. Filtering partition is convergent. The body is separated along its length into independent sectors. Attached coaxially to the body on sides of draining surface are driven sprockets rotated together with cylindrical body with the help of chains by drive driving sprockets. Pressing shafts connect chains with each other. EFFECT: higher efficiency due to easy removal of solid cake from filtering partition and higher productivity of device. 2 cl, 4 dwg
