FIELD: devices for purification of liquids from mechanical impurities; applicable in chemical, food, mineral concentration and other industries. SUBSTANCE: drum-type vacuum filter has a bath for suspension, hollow shaft with two trunnions, sprockets of shaft drive, distributing heads, drainage surface coated from outside with filtering partition, cake removing knife, cake receiver. Hollow shaft inside is separated into independent sectors. Secured coaxially to shaft at one of trunnions is hollow and separated into sectors disc with system of draining channels communicated with shaft independent sectors, and outside drum with internal draining channels and additional internal draining surface opened from opposite end. Secured to disc coaxially to outside drum several drums of smaller diameter with internal draining channels, external and internal draining surfaces. In this case, draining surfaces are also coated with filtering partitions. Each filtering partition is provided with individual knife for filter cake removal. Filter cake is discharged into containers located on the side of open end and parallel to filter axis. EFFECT: increased efficiency and surface of filtering. 5 dwg
