FIELD: mounting operations for joining aluminium or copper cores of insulated wires and cables of high voltage electric circuit, for example underground electric circuits. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of arranging ends of spliced cores of any shape in cross plane in apexes of designed equilateral polygon; joining said ends by means of metallic sleeves; applying doses of explosion matter onto insulated outer surfaces of sleeves and fixing them; joining explosion matters with common detonator for providing simultaneous detonation; performing microexplosion. EFFECT: possibility for performing simultaneous high-quality welding of all cores of high-voltage cable by simplified process that may be realized in field condition and in town and provides enhanced mechanical and electrical parameters of all joints of spliced cores. 9 cl, 6 dwg
