FIELD: drilling equipment. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to boosters for hydraulic percussive mechanisms used to liquidate tacks. Given booster is made of body which space houses rod spline-jointed to body. Outer surface of rod has upper, center and lower annular grooves. Inner surface of body carries three annular grooves: upper, center and lower. Annular grooves form chambers. Upper and lower pistons are mounted on rod for limited axial movement. Stroke of each piston relative to rod equals stroke of each piston with reference to body. Compression of oil and accumulation of potential energy with both strike from below and strike from above occur in one and same chamber formed by center annular grooves with tension of drill pipe string or with its compression. EFFECT: simplified design, compactness and reliability of proposed booster. 1 dwg
