ANAEROBIC REFRIGERATING PLANT WITH STIRLING ENGINE Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

Abstract RU 2164612 C1

FIELD: heat-power engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed invention can be used as refrigerating plant for objects operating without communication with atmosphere, such as deep water equipment and special facilities. Stirling engine generates useful energy supplied to power consumers. Cooling systems with heat exchangers-coolers is used for cooling the engine. Exhaust gases from combustion chamber are directed to chemical reactor where synthesis gas is formed to be used as fuel for engine. Synthesis gas gets into generator of steam ejector refrigerating machine in evaporator of which cold is generated which is then transmitted to object cold supply system. Liquid oxygen is delivered by pump into heat exchanger for cooling liquid n cooling system to low temperature. Oxygen in gaseous state expanded in gas-expansion machine with provision of useful work is used as oxidizer for engine. Service cooling liquid is used to remove part of heat load from engine and refrigerating machine. EFFECT: increased efficiency of Stirling engine, provision of low-grade energy in form of cold for special oxidizer systems. 1 dwg
