FIELD: hydraulic machine building, applicable in immersion centrifugal pumps for production of oil. SUBSTANCE: the impeller has driving and cover plates with blades located on them forming variable-section flow ducts with the plates. The flow ducts are made converging from the impeller centre to the periphery and decreasing in height; the profile of the blades is involute, whose ends are straightened at an angle of 35 to 42 dwg. to the tangent to the circle of the impeller outside diameter, the junction to the planes of the driving and cover plates is made on radius with a growing value from the centre to the periphery of the blades within 1/20 to 1/2 of the duct height in the section equal to 0/3 to 0.4 of the blade length and equal to 1/2 of the duct height in the peripheral section, the slope of the blade internal end to the plane of the driving plate equals 107 to 115 deg., and the driving and cover plates are provided with impellers installed on the external planes of the driving and cover plates. The impellers on the external surface of the driving plate are made in the form of straight blades, and the impellers on the external surface of the cover plate are made in the form of involute blades. The diameter of the driving plate is less than the diameter of the cover plate by a value equal to 1.2 to 1.6 of the width of the flow ducts in the periphery of the plates. The pump efficiency grows by up to 21%, and the impeller pressure head - by 35 to 38%. EFFECT: enhanced pump efficiency and pressure head. 4 cl, 6 dwg
