FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: proposed unit comprises drive motor, encased rotary pump composed of flow and running sections, and coupling to couple shafts of said shafts. Flow section comprises suction pipe, flow chamber to accommodate impeller and involute branch pipe communicated with pressure pipe. Pump shaft incorporates running section supported by the case via radial bearings and furnished with gland seal. The shaft consists of different-diameter sections. Larger-diameter section is arranged between said radial bearings. Shaft other sections feature stepped diameters decreasing to shaft extensions. Shaft section between said bearings has, at least at area of abutment on said bearings, the diameter larger than those of other sections and length larger than that of them and total length of sections behind said bearings. Pressure pipe is composed of diffuser with difference in areas of inlet and outlet cross-sections that allows 1.2-3.1 times decrease in delivered flow rate.
