FIELD: rocketry and space engineering; injection of satellites into high-altitude orbits. SUBSTANCE: satellite is first injected into moon circling trajectory where satellite performs gravitational manoeuvre changing the plane of satellite orbit. In downward leg of moon circling trajectory, satellite is transferred to intermediate orbit at altitude of pericenter no less than 40000 km above the Earth surfaces. Then satellite is transferred to geostationary orbit by means of low-thrust engines (not exceeding 0.001% of satellite earth weight). EFFECT: increased mass of injected satellite in launching it from high-latitude cosmodromes. 2 cl, 1 dwg
