Abstract RU 2164949 C1

FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, namely, supplying hot blast and combustible gas to blast furnace. SUBSTANCE: tuyere includes cooled body with blast duct, flange, mouth part, gas supplying tube and two gas-jet whistles. First gas-jet whistle is arranged in branch pipe of gas supplying tube with inner diameter D along blast duct of tuyere in its water cavity. First whistle includes tube having outer diameter Dc and inner diameter d open at side of tuyere flange and secured to D-diameter plug of branch pipe closing it at side of mouth part. Resonating chamber formed in tube adjoins to plug and it has height (0.9-1.1)D. Outlet opening of tube has lengthwise size (1.3-1.5)D, it is directed to blast side and arranged over outlet opening of second branch pipe of gas supplying tube for introducing gas through wall of blast duct. Said wall has refractory lining at side of blast duct. Second gas-jet whistle is welded to tuyere flange, its outlet opening is oriented towards blast; whistle has lining layer at side of blast duct.
