FIELD: ferrous metallurgy; manufacture of tuyeres for putting-on blast and supplying additional fuel to blast furnace. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes gas thermal application of aluminum-containing coat on surface of outer sleeve and mouth portion at preliminary cleaning of surfaces by metal shots followed by molding layer of lining from rammed mullite-corundum mass on inner surface of inner sleeve; heat treatment is started 5 hours after application of aluminum-containing layer. Molding of lining is started after drop of temperature of mouth portion to 100 C after application of aluminum- containing coat. Heat treatment includes heating at rate of 50 C/h to 550- 600 C, holding at heat for 0.4-0.6 h, heating at rate of 50 C/h to 850-880 C, holding at heat for 3-4 h and cooling together with furnace to 120-150 C. EFFECT: reduced power requirements; reduction of time required for preparation of tuyere for operation; enhanced stability of tuyere. 3 cl, 2 dwg
