FIELD: jet artillery high-explosive fragmentation ammunition. SUBSTANCE: jet projectile has a warhead, jet engine and a blasting device; the warhead body, at least in its cylindrical section, is made as a multilayer, minimum three-layer one. One of the intermediate layers is made of elastic material in the form of a casing with shaped recesses (semi-cylinder shape) with longitudinal axes that are parallel with its longitudinal axis. The casing accommodates fixed finished injurious members in the form of cylinders of plastic metal. Inert inserts in the form of rings, having a thickness of 2.5 to 5.0% of the total length of the fragmentation block, are positioned on the faces of the intermediate layer. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of fragmentation action of the jet projectile due to the enhanced speed of dispersion of fragments and reduced penetration of projectile in the ground. 5 dwg
