SUBSTANCE: warhead has a body, explosive charge, unit of ready - made hitting elements and a fuze located between them, the unit of ready-made hitting elements is made in the form of a set of cylindrical bushes of polymeric material, for example, polyethylene, accommodating the hitting elements, the explosive charge is provided with a cylindrical metal envelope with bottom bases, the mass of the explosive charge located before and after the unit of ready-made hitting elements makes up 0.02 to 0.15 and 0.25 to 0.45 respectively of the charge total mass, and the fuze is installed on the front bottom base of the envelope. Due to programmed creation of shock waves, the invention makes it possible to provide the preset angle of scattering of fragments, uniform distribution and acceleration of velocities in the angle of their scattering. EFFECT: optimized distribution of the fragmentation field, and as a result, enhanced efficiency of high-explosive and fragmentation action of ammunition, simplified procedure of manufacture of the unit of ready- made elements, loading of the charge with the explosive and assembly of the warhead. 1 dwg
