FIELD: mining industry, particularly, mining complexes and units for mineral extraction. SUBSTANCE: hydraulic drive has hydraulic cylinder for moving of extensible shearing device in the form of wedge, hydraulic control valve whose inlets are connected by means of hydraulic lines with pressure and return hydraulic lines, hydropneumatic accumulator, check hydraulic valve, one-way pilot controlled check valve and pressure hydraulic valve. The first outlet of hydraulic control valve is connected to inlet of check hydraulic valve whose outlet is connected to head end of hydraulic cylinder moving shearing device and hydropneumatic accumulator. The second outlet of hydraulic control valve is connected to control cavity of one-way pilot controlled check valve. The third outlet of hydraulic control valve is connected to undervalve cavity of one-way pilot controlled check valve whose abovevalve cavity is connected with rod end of hydraulic cylinder moving shearing device. In addition, the first outlet of hydraulic control valve before inlet of check hydraulic valve is connected to inlet of pressure hydraulic valve whose outlet is connected to the third outlet of hydraulic control valve before inlet of undervalve cavity of one-way pilot controlled check valve. EFFECT: reduced energy consumption in operation of hydraulic drive of roofing of powered support unit due to reduced flow rate of working fluid in pressure and return hydraulic lines. 1 dwg
