FIELD: commercial poultry farming. SUBSTANCE: method involves exposing birds to multiple cycles per day of optical effect in feeding and rest zones, with each cycle involving exposing birds to radiation in orange and blue parts of visible-light spectrum in dark and light periods of day, respectively; stimulating birds to feed consumption before feeding time by providing acoustic tone messages combined with dawns and twilights simulated by changing daylight factor and color of illumination; providing air aeroionization with negative ions every other cycle at night time of each day. Apparatus has light cable extending above bird feeding and rest zones, acoustic tone message sources and negative ion aeroionizers. Light cable has two separate illumination channels in orange and blue parts of visible-light spectrum, respectively. Each illumination channel has illumination source operating in one definite part of visible spectrum. Mentioned sources are connected to define parallel-series independent electric circuit switched to power source through automatic mode control device.
